Toddler, woman injured in stray dog attack in Coimbatore

A stray dog attacked a one-and-a-half-year-old boy and a 50-year-old woman in Coimbatore district. The incidents happened at Kaliyapuram and Jallimedu on Thursday night. Both victims, who suffered facial and forearm injuries, were treated at Coimbatore Medical College Hospital and given rabies shots. Authorities are attempting to locate the stray dog.
