FREDERICKSBURG, Texas (KXAN) -- Thursday brought near-freezing temperatures and cold rain to the Hill Country. Most of the day was chilly and soggy, and crews started to observe some icing - particularly in the northwest pocket of the Hill Country - in the afternoon.
"The rain’s getting a little sharper, that’s when you know it’s getting a little bit colder," said Alexis Archer, who works at 290 Locale Winery and Pizzeria in Johnson City. KXAN spoke with her on our way from Burnet to Fredericksburg.
