Cold rains arrive today

Cold rains will arrive in Acadiana but we are starting off mostly quiet this Thursday morning with temperatures in the low to mid 30s. Rain showers become likely later this morning into the afternoon and should last through tonight. Otherwise, Acadiana stays cloudy and very cold with highs barely reaching the mid 40s.

Heavier rains are possible tonight before the showers taper off Friday morning. Temperatures stay well above freezing so winter weather is not expected in our area.
