Lawyer abducted by ex-leader of Bangladesh says cops raided his home after Treasury Minister was asked about his plight

A LAWYER abducted by the ex-leader of Bangladesh says police raided his home after Treasury Minister Tulip Siddiq was asked about his plight.

Mir Ahmad bin Quasem, being held prisoner at the time, said members of Bangladesh’s Rapid Action Battalion told his wife to “remain low”.

It came in 2017 just after Ms Siddiq was challenged on Channel 4 News to make a phone call to help him.
