TOPEKA (KSNT) - The City of Topeka shared updates on the status of snow plowing efforts.
The city said it hopes to have a pass on every residential street by Thursday evening. In an effort to assist downtown businesses, the city has opened the Park N Shop, Centre City and Crosby parking garages to be used free-of-charge from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the rest of the week.
“Our snow plow drivers have worked 12-hour shifts, nonstop since Saturday,” said Steve Groen, City of Topeka Public Works Director.
