Cochlear implant surgery for 54-year-old woman at BHU's ENT department

A 54-year-old woman from Azamgarh underwent successful cochlear implantation at Banaras Hindu University. This is the first time the university's ENT department has performed this surgery on a female patient over 50. The surgery was led by Prof Vishwambhar Singh. The cost of the surgery was covered by the government of Uttar Pradesh.
