NEW YORK (PIX11) -- A highly contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea has rapidly spread across New York City, with cases nearly doubling from November to December.
While symptoms of norovirus can last one to three days, those infected can continue to spread the virus for up to two weeks, according to the CDC.
