Goa hotels ring in the new year on a sober note

Goa experienced a mixed performance in tourist arrivals during the last week of December. Luxury hotels had over 90% occupancy, while mid-scale hotels saw 65-70%. Room rates were higher compared to 2023. Some hotels reported flat or declining growth, and tourists are considering other international destinations.
