City, state offices in Shawnee County to open Wednesday after blizzard

TOPEKA (KSNT) - City of Topeka and State of Kansas government office workers are due to return to their respective workplaces on Wednesday.

Governor Laura Kelly announced in a press release on Jan. 7 that she is ordering state offices in Shawnee County to reopen on Jan. 8 following a blizzard which made travel through the area treacherous. Offices were previously ordered to shut down in the county.
