Morning Briefing: ‘The Winter of Soto is Still Cooking’
Good morning, Mets fans!
Jeff Passan of ESPN reported Monday that the Mets are still discussing adding an outfielder, relievers, and another starter. Passan also notes that Pete Alonso is likely to get a short-term deal with an opt-out clause, and a reunion with the Mets still seems like the most likely scenario.
“The Winter of Soto is still cooking,” Passan writes.
