'A deal that must happen': Trump celebrates as son Don Jr. arrives in Greenland

President-elect Donald Trump claimed his representatives had received a "great" reception in Greenland as he hopes to take possession of the autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark.

In a Tuesday post on his Truth Social platform, Trump announced that his son Donald Trump Jr., right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk, and incoming White House Director of Personnel Sergio Gor had arrived on the island.

"Don Jr. and my Reps landing in Greenland," Trump wrote. "The reception has been great.
