Over 100 mistreated dogs found in van in Finland, three arrested

Finnish police made a disturbing discovery on New Year’s Eve when they stopped a van in Nurmes, North Karelia, finding over 100 dogs in poor condition crammed inside. Many of the animals were puppies.

A veterinarian assessed the dogs, determining that nearly half—around 50 to 60—were in such poor health that they had to be euthanised.
