Huge emergency response as 27 spa-goers exposed to chemical and left ‘feeling sick’

A GROUP of spa-goers have been exposed to “excess chlorine” and left reportedly feeling sick – sparking an emergency response.

Some 27 people were affected at Cliffords Health Club & Spa in Long Eaton, Derbyshire, with 10 showing symptoms after having been in the swimming pool.

Fire crews raced to the scene around 10.27am today where four club members were taken to hospital.
