St. Francis gives update following winter storm

TOPEKA (KSNT) - The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka reports it's ready to treat injuries after a rocky week with due to a diversion caused by a power outage and winter storm.

Terri Benson, a spokeswoman for St. Francis, said the hospital is currently open and accepting patients but outpatient and urgent care locations will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6. The hospital encourages community members to stay home unless necessary.
