The 62-year-old actress won the award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for her role in the body-horror flick The Substance at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“Oh wow. I really wasn’t expecting that. I’m just in shock right now,” Demi said in her acceptance speech. “I’ve been doing this a long time, like over 45 years and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor.
