Manipur tribal bloc ends NH2 blockade, with an ‘ultimatum’

The Committee on Tribal Unity (CoTU) ended the economic blockade on NH-2 in Manipur, effective from 2 am on Sunday, following an agreement with the authorities for the deployment of the 112 CRPF Battalion. They issued a 48-hour ultimatum for withdrawal of CAPF personnel from Saibol.
