ALDI has again beaten its rival Lidl as the UK’s cheapest supermarket, according to consumer website Which?.
It used an independent price comparison site to track thousands of grocery prices.
The survey of Aldi, Asda, Lidl, Morrisons, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose found out how much each was charging for everyday items through the year.
Aldi regained its crown as the cheapest in all 12 months of the year for a typical shopping list of 56 groceries.
