‘Against policy’: Hospital asks court to toss case over woman who was denied an abortion

Lawyers for Providence St. Joseph (SJH), a Catholic hospital in Eureka, California, have asked a court to dismiss a lawsuit filed against the hospital by the state’s Attorney General Rob Bonta after it allegedly denied a woman an abortion earlier this year.
