180 million people have been denied their voting rights, says Bangladesh CEC

Bangladesh's Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin is committed to ending the deprivation of voting rights for 180 million people. A door-to-door data collection for updating the voter list will start on January 20. The Election Commission will investigate past elections and aims to ensure a fair and credible election by early 2026.
