China seeks to bolster ports and aviation hubs in western regions

China has announced 15 measures to enhance the western provinces' development, including building logistical infrastructure like ports and aviation hubs. This initiative aims to improve integration of rail, air, river, and sea links in cities such as Chengdu, Chongqing, and Xi'an. Efforts also focus on bonded zones and stronger connections to Europe and South Asia.
