Police arrest OAP, 80, on suspicion of murder of man in his 70s who died after being found seriously injured in flat

COPS have arrested an OAP, 80, on suspicion of murder after a man was found with serious injuries at a flat and later died.

Officers were called to a property on Silverdale Close, in Aylesbury, at 4.20pm yesterday as paramedics battled to save the victim, a man in his seventies.

He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, despite the best efforts of emergency services.

Thames Valley Police arrested an 80-year-old man, from Aylesbury, on suspicion of murder.

He remains in police custody at this time.
