Lockhart's music scene grows, city recognized as 'music-friendly'
LOCKHART, Texas (KXAN) --- The city of Lockhart, known for its taste in food, was recognized for its taste in music.
City of Lockhart named ‘Music Friendly Texas Certified Community’
On Friday, the Texas Music Office designated the city as a “Music Friendly Texas Certified Community."
"With this recognition, I think we'll have a lot of people coming into Lockhart and just checking out what we have here, which is really exciting," said Lockhart Public Information Officer Tatiana Salazar.
