How much extra daylight will Portland get in January?

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Daylight hours are on the rise as the northern hemisphere distances itself from the winter solstice.

Sunsets will continue to get later in the evening as sunrise times get earlier during the month of January. The greater Portland, Vancouver area is expecting to gain over 50 minutes of daylight during the month of January.
