BATON ROUGE, La. (KLFY) -- In an executive order today, Governor Jeff Landry declared a period of mourning for the New Orleans terror attack victims.
The order calls for all flags over state buildings be flown at half-staff from Jan. 6 - 10 and Jan. 13 - 17 in memory of lives lost. Per a news release, political subdivisions, private entities and educational institutions are encouraged to lower U.S. and state flags to half-staff during those times as well.
