Iran’s Human Rights Organization has reported the execution of nine prisoners, including two Afghan nationals, at the Ghezel Hesar prison. The executions took place on Friday, January 3, with the prisoners convicted of various crimes, primarily drug-related offenses.
The organization stated that six of the executed prisoners were charged with murder, while three others were executed for drug-related crimes. Among those executed, the two Afghan nationals were identified as Amir and Padsha.
