Lafayette fugitive in custody after allegedly shooting at Livingston Parish deputies

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Deputies with the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office were shot at while responding to a location off of Eden Church Road late Thursday night into early Friday morning, authorities said.

The sheriff's office said Faron Dillon, 40, is charged with five counts of attempted first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer, one count of felon in possession of a firearm and one count of aggravated criminal damage to property.
