TOPEKA (KSNT) — The Boy Scouts Jayhawk Area Council will loan cots to Topeka warming stations ahead of the winter storm expected to hit the area on Saturday.
On Friday, the Jayhawk Area Council announced that it was loaning nearly 100 cots from the Falley Scout Reservation, also known as Camp Jayhawk, to three warming stations in Topeka.
“The Jayhawk Area Council is pleased to provide this support to those in need of a warm place to stay,” Scout Executive/CEO Wayne Pancoast said.
