TOPEKA (KSNT) - The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus in Topeka experienced a hardware failure that forced part of the hospital to go on generator power.
Ardent Health, the parent company for the St. Francis Campus, announced Jan. 2 the hospital went into diversion status and rescheduled some non-emergent elective procedures as a result of the hardware failure.
Ardent Health spokeswoman Terri Benson said the hospital is continuing to accept walk-in patients for evaluations and stabilization.
