PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Wet and wintry weather returns across the region as the next Pacific frontal system arrives Thursday. Road conditions may turn icy for the Mt. Hood area and Upper Hood River Valley tonight through Friday afternoon as freezing rain develops.
Timing & Locations
As the warm front lifts tonight over northwest Oregon, snow levels will rise to around 6,000 feet. The warm air and moisture moving in and over sub-freezing pockets throughout the Cascades and foothills may cause freezing rain to develop.
