It was a mostly quiet New Years Day from the Penguins, but Pens Points is still here in case you missed anything.
It will be another day before the Pittsburgh Penguins open the 2025 portion of their 2024-25 schedule as they head to the Sunshine State for a meeting with the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers tomorrow night. Before hopping on a plane bound for Florida, the Penguins remained in Detroit on New Year’s Day for a practice session.
