A DANGEROUS driver has been arrested after a vehicle swerved into a crowd of New Years Eve partygoers, striking two pedestrians .

Cops have arrested a 40-YEAR-OLD on suspicion of dangerous driving, causing grievous bodily harm, and possession of controlled drugs.
