WATCH: Cat rescued from utility pole in SE Kansas

PITTSBURG, Kan. — Pittsburg State University faculty and Evergy workers acted quickly in Pittsburg earlier this month to rescue a cat that was stranded atop a utility pole.

The cat was spotted on the power pole just outside the Pittsburg State University Natural History Reserve by a faculty member around 11 a.m. on Dec. 19. Evergy was contacted and an employee was sent with a bucket truck to help.
