Williamson County animal shelter waiving fees for first 100 adoptions of 2025

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) -- If your New Year's resolution is to provide a forever home for a pet, you're in luck.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter announced that adoption fees for the first 100 dog and cat adoptions at the shelter in 2025 will be waived thanks to a partnership with Hill's Pet Nutrition. Fees will be waived up to Jan. 12.

WCRAS will be closed on Wednesday to commemorate New Year's Day and will reopen for normal business hours on Thursday...
