Jim Jordan and Byron Donalds floated to replace Mike Johnson as speaker

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) refused to commit to supporting Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) as speaker of the House in the next Congress and instead floated the names of other Republicans like Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH).

During a Tuesday interview on Fox Business, Roy said he hadn't decided to support Johnson despite President-elect Donald Trump's endorsement for reelecting him as speaker.
