FBI issues warning over rash of recent pro athlete home break-ins

The FBI is on alert over a series of recent break-ins at the homes of professional athletes, CBS News reported Monday.

According to the report, federal agents "issued a notice to sports leagues earlier this month informing teams and players ... and advising them on how to protect themselves from future crimes. The advisory said "at least nine professional athletes were targeted in the rash of forced entries at their homes across the country between September and November, according to the sources.
