Salem police seek suspect of fatal hit-and-run on Murlark Avenue

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Salem police are searching for the suspect of a hit-and-run that left a man dead in a roadway on Dec. 23, officials say.

When officers responded to the crash at Murlark Avenue just north of Edgewater Street NW around 8:30 p.m., they found Steven Craig Bishop dead at the scene, according to police.
