First China-Afghanistan Rail Transit Shipment Arrives in Herat

The Ministry of Public Works has announced that the first rail transit shipment from China to Afghanistan, consisting of 1,000 tons of steel coils, has arrived at the Rosanak station in Herat province via Iran’s rail network.

Mohammad Ashraf Haqshanas, the spokesperson for the ministry, shared a video on his X/Twitter account, stating that the shipment started its journey from China and, after arriving at the port of Bandar Abbas, it continued its route via Iran’s rail network to Afghanistan.
