Rana Sanaullah, political advisor to Pakistan’s Prime Minister, stated that Islamabad will not bow to any pressure from Donald Trump, the U.S. President-elect, regarding the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan or negotiations with his party.
This statement came in response to a recent call by Trump’s envoy for special missions, urging Khan’s release.
The advisor made these remarks on Tuesday, December 24, in reaction to comments by Richard Grenell, Trump’s nominee for special missions.
