Washburn professor, wife killed in Brown County crash

TOPEKA (KSNT) - A Washburn University professor and his wife were killed in a Brown County crash Friday morning.

Dave and Marcia Provorse were traveling south on U.S. 75 when they were t-boned by a semi that blew a stop sign, according to the KHP crash log. It happened around 8:00 a.m..

The Washburn community is heartbroken over the tragic loss of beloved psychology professor Dave Provorse and his wife, Marcia.
