Coimbatore man brings Rs 80,000 in coins to family court to pay as interim alimony

A Coimbatore man made headlines when he attempted to pay ₹80,000 in interim alimony using bundles of ₹1 and ₹2 coins. Ordered to pay ₹2 lakh to his estranged wife, the call taxi driver arrived at the additional family court with the coins, but the judge requested payment in notes. A video of the incident went viral.
