Fani Willis to appeal to Georgia Supreme Court after disqualification in Trump case

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis filed a notice of appeal to the Georgia Supreme Court after she was disqualified from prosecuting President-elect Donald Trump and others for attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

In a Thursday filing to the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Fulton County District Attorney's Office said it intended "to petition the Supreme Court of Georgia" to review the decision to disqualify Willis.
