Pvt equity investment in Indian real estate up 32pc in 2024 to USD 4.15 bnn: Knight Frank

Indian real estate attracted $4.15 billion in private equity investments in 2024, a 32% year-over-year increase. The warehousing sector led with 45% of investments, followed by residential (28%) and office (26%). Residential investments more than doubled due to strong demand. Mumbai attracted half of all investments, with UAE-based investors contributing the most.
