TMC names Kalyan Banerjee, Saket Gokhale for joint panel on simultaneous polls bills

The Trinamool Congress proposed Kalyan Banerjee and Saket Gokhale for the joint parliamentary committee to examine the bills on simultaneous elections. The bills were introduced in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday, and the government has stated that they will be referred to the committee for detailed review.
