Karnataka coffee grower faces extortion threat from fake IPS officers

A coffee grower in Kodagu, Karnataka, reported to the police about individuals impersonating IPS officers who threatened him with arrest. The impostors accused him of taking a large commission from a businessman and attempted to extort money, even obtaining his Aadhaar and bank details. The grower promptly blocked further attempts to withdraw money from his account.
