A teenager has been arrested following reports they ‘knocked out’ a police officer outside a chip shop in Merseyside.
Officers attended the scene on Roughwood Drive in Kirkby at around 6.55pm yesterday, following reports that a group of rowdy youths had been hurling bottles and stones at the shop and attempting to smash its windows.
