JEANERETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A teenager who escaped from the Jeanerette City Jail is still at large, and considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
Jeanerette Police said Jaqualin Lewis, 17, ran off from the booking area of The Jeanerette City Jail on Oct. 15. Lewis was being held for two counts of attempted second degree murder, and one count of carrying of a firearm in a school zone.
