Govt asks MPs to publicise list of fake universities on social media

The government urged Parliament members to raise awareness about 21 fake universities operating nationwide. They've asked state governments to shut these institutions down and take legal action against those responsible. The government also requested states to report any other fake universities not on the UGC's list. Twelve such institutions have been closed since 2014.
