King tides at Oregon coast, dry in Willamette Valley

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Active weather along the Oregon Coast and up in the mountains continues. Heavy mountain snow is expected early Sunday morning and late Sunday night above 3,500 feet. There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Sunday for the northern and central Oregon Cascades with the possibility of 6 to 12 new inches of snow above 3,500 feet.

As for the coast, scattered rain showers will remain for our Sunday with a few dry moments especially in the afternoon.
