Centre, Chhattisgarh committed to end Naxalism in state by March 2026: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced a joint commitment with the Chhattisgarh government to eradicate Naxalism from the state by March 31, 2026. He praised the Chhattisgarh police for significant achievements against Naxalism in the past year, including neutralizing 287 Naxalites and facilitating the surrender of 837. Shah urged remaining Naxalites to surrender and join the mainstream.
