Nightclubs reopened in Syria amid new Government changes

Agence France-Presse reported on the cautious reopening of nightclubs in Syria. After the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government and the rise of opposition forces in Damascus, bars and nightclubs were closed for four days, but during this period, no repressive actions were taken against them.

According to the report, the new government in Syria will adopt a policy of tolerance toward all social and religious groups in the country.
